Taylor began her journey with YouTube, at first creating ASMR videos with her mobile. Soon after reaching 50,000 subscribers, within a month of the upload of her first video she appeared in a gaming video produced by PewDiePie. Taylor stopped making videos for her Youtube channel after 2 months and more than 100,000 subscribers. The reason for this was mostly due to technical issues related to her brand new equipment and her awe-inspiring popularity. In August 2022 after having a hiatus of couple of months, Taylor started making videos for example, ASMR 10 triggers for sleep (35 million hits). She released ASMR 20 triggers to aid in sleeping during July 2017. (38 million views as of august 2022). Following the milestone of 1 million YouTube subscribers, she was featured in the Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. In February, Wired UK estimated that she was earning $1,000 per day from advertising revenue from her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer as well as Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. The two were born in the town of Donalda, Alberta Canada. Her parents are Dennis and Elaine Helfer. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler. Alongside the help of her sisters Trena Tammy Tara and Tammy Tara, she resided as a farm worker on the grain farm of their family. Helfer was spotted at 17 by a scout from a modeling agency when she was waiting in line at the movie theater.
